This evolution includes the addition of an Altra EGO midsole, bringing an extra level of response to every step you take while conquering all types of terrain with the MaxTrac outsole. The updated StoneGuard offers more coverage while using less substance and the laser-cut drainage holes allow you to get drenched with added drainage. It's safe to say that with the Lone Peak 5, no trail is safe.

      Good toe room

      This shoe is very lightweight and comfortable, with a lot of space for the toes. Yet it still has a nice, tight fit. I don’t have to think about my feet or shoes at all when I run! I wear a 6 in regular shoes and got fitted with a 7.5 in these.

      Lone Peak 5 experience

      I wear lone peak 5 for twice. Around 29km hike at Lantau Island and 36km for 4TUL Section 2 from Taikoo to Central Pier no 8, the overall performance is good. However, it seems that t this model is not very responsive for hard rocks as my feeling. It performs well for sandy trail.
