Charity Downhilling Session 25/Jul/2021 - with Jeff Campbell & John Ellis
Do you get frustrated when you've just put in a good uphill climb and then little bouncing gazelles rocket past you on the downhills?
Downhill running can present great challenges including damaging muscle fibers. Learning proper technical descending techniques can greatly improve confidence, speed and, most importantly, prevent injury.
For this session, lead by bouncy gazelles Jeff Campbell and John Ellis, you will be learning basic principles of downhill running and then putting these skills into action.
⏺️Time to meet : 8am -10.30am
⏺️Meeting Point : Tai Tam Reservoir Road Wilson Trail Section 2 Entrance Car Park https://goo.gl/maps/4U7WLxYAm497ep9S6

(Larger donations are always welcome and please contact our staff at Gone Running).
All of the proceeds will be donated to two charity groups - RUN HK and Christian Zheng Sheng Collage 基督教正生書院, with an equal amount matched by the Gone Running (plus a small top-up from our good-hearted instructor).
We kindly require all participants to have the endurance to complete a 5km run on a flat road in reasonably hot day, and are already with some hiking experience.
Masks will have to be worn while not running, and social distancing rules should be observed at all times.
Sufficient hydration and a broad smile are strongly recommended.
