New Balance Men's FuelCell Prism v2
- 6 mm drop: Due to variances created during the development and manufacturing processes, all references to 4 mm drop are approximate
- FuelCell foam delivers a propulsive feel to help drive you forward
- Medial post helps control pronation
- Mesh upper for a lightweight, comfortable fit and feel
The New Balance Fuelcell Prism is designed as a shoe to provides lightweight support for mild overpronation but also doubles as a great training shoe for everybody.
Weighing in at 267g for a Men's US 10, it is a great shoe for your daily training runs.
Its a bit lighter than v1 and the upper is somewhat redesigned, 6mm of drop remains the same.
We have written a blog positioning the Prism in the Stability Shoe line up and you can read that HERE
This is not a shoe to provide a huge amount of support for people with severe overpronation, for that, look more at the NB 860, but what you get is a structured, light shoe that gives a modicum of support. Hence this is a great shoe for anybody wanting a slightly more structured everyday trainer.
We did a 100km review of the v1 back in July 2020 and you can read that HERE
NB Fuelcell foam in some of the range can be somewhat soft and if you are a heel striker, or find yourself running a lot downhill, you will find the Prism much more stable than for instance the NB RC or TC Elite.
