      Planning on running Oxfam Trailwalker? Whether it's your first time or your tenth time, it's always a tough race. Everyone has a friend with horror stories from race day, but this doesn't have to be you!
       
      If you want some tips to help you survive and thrive, then come join our four-part Trailwalker programme. It will be led by some of Hong Kong's best runners, including JoeJoe Fan, Jeff Campbell, John Ellis, Peter Hopper and other elite runners from the Gone Running-Joint Dynamics team. Over four sessions in August, we'll run through everything you need to know about Trailwalker - come along to one or all.
       
      Please note there is a small charge for these sessions, with funds going to the Gone Running Development Fund to help Hong Kong's best young local runners to explore overseas race opportunities. PLEASE BUY YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE HERE and bring the printed receipt on the event day.
       
      Session 1: Trailwalker Theory
      When: 7pm to 8:30pm on Thursday 8 August
      Location: Gone Running, 16/F, Simsons Commercial Building, 137 Johnston Road, Wan Chai

      ► Picking the right gear
      ► Race day and support
      Speakers: John Ellis and Jeff Campbell from the 2018 Trailwalker winning team
       
      Session 2: Trail Skills Training (including downhill, pole technique etc - max 25 person).
      When: 10am to 12pm on Saturday 10 August
      Location: Carpark at start of Wilson 2 near Park View
      Coaches: John Ellis and Jeff Campbell from the 2018 Trailwalker winning team
       
      Session 3: Runner's Nutrition Workshop (max 40 people)
      When: 7pm to 8:30pm on Thursday 15 August
      Location: Gone Running

      Speaker: JoeJoe FAN (Previous Trailwalker Mixed Team Record Holder, 5 times Hong Kong Marathon local female overall winner. HKSI Elite Athlete)
       
      Session 4: Group Training with Elites (max 30 people)
      When: 10am to 12pm on Sunday 18 August
      Location: TBA
      A group of elite trail runners will run with you for 2 hours and share their running tips. Feel free to ask any questions you have in mind. Led by the Gone Running-Joint Dynamics elite team.
