U SPORT is UMARA's pride and the base energy of the UMARA family. A sports drink based on 2 parts of fast multi-chain carbohydrates in the form of maltodextrin, as well as a part of slower carbohydrate in the form of fructose. Together, they help each other and are taken up in different ways so that your energy intake is higher with a lower risk of stomach problems.

In U SPORT there is also a balanced amount of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium) with high bioavailability to compensate sweat losses and a balanced amount of BCAA (branched chain amino acids) to help keep mental fatigue at bay.

How to use:

Consume the sports drink right from the start to deliver energy and electrolytes continuously for maintenance of performance and improved fluid absorption during your longer sessions. You can of course drink U Sport also during shorter training/competition times, but it is in the higher doses that you will really notice a difference. 

- 30-60min in medium to high intensity: 30g carbs/hour (120Kcal/hour).

- 1-2h in medium to high intensity: 60g carbs/hour (240Kcal/hour).

- 2-4h in medium to high intensity: 60g carbs/hour (240Kcal/hour).

- <2h in competition to high intensity: 90g carbs/hour (360Kcal/hour).

How much water is needed for U SPORT? 

U SPORT is very easily soluble and dissolves completely up to 930gr/litre. But a more normal range is that we athletes mix between 100-400gr/litre. It is when you want to carry highly concentrated energy with little weight that this is very effective . If it's very hot outside and you need more water, you can mix it weaker or drink water on the side.

Can I mix U SPORT and U INTEND Shot in the same bottle? 

Yes, they are flavor-matched to be mixed. In this way, you can get yourself a caffeinated sports drink when you want it. One suggestion is to mix a little U Intend in the bottle that you start drinking from after about 4 hours of training/competition.

Does U SPORT have electrolytes in it?

Yes, U SPORT is complete and all you need. It contains fast + slow carbohydrate sources, all important electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium). A complete light tasting drink.

How long can I store ready-mixed sports drink? 

1-2 days at room temperature, up to a week in the refrigerator.
