The midsole consists of 2 layers of resilient Lightstrike Pro foam providing cushioning. With optimized ENERGYRODS 2.0 embedded in the midsole, the ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 3 is designed to give runners the optimal level of stiffness and energy return. The new lightweight upper provides specific support where athletes need it most, finished off with a Continental rubber outsole with traction to help take corners at a fast pace. *60% of 2021 World Major Marathon wins were by athletes wearing Adizero Adios Pro 2.

        Advice on running shoes for a first time marathon runner

        Gone Running is a bespoke - running & all things running focused store in the heart of Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Back in November last year - I had decided to take part & register for my first Hong Kong marathon - having never run a marathon before. I am a keen runner 5,10 & 20km being my more usual distances. Gone Running provided sound, well balanced & honest advice. They provided great, key insights for gel, socks, running clothing & shoe selection - all the advice & aid a first time marathon runner or seasoned pro could ever need. I had finally settled on the adidas ADIZERO shoes - following honest advice of several design floors in a New Balance Shoe - which had been my first choice. I can’t thank the team at Gone Running enough. Running is clearly their passion & coupled with sound experience - I recommend any athlete seeking great experience & in depth advice to make their store a first port of call. Traditionally many stores in Hong Kong try to sell you the most expensive shoe & extra gear you don’t need - they will not. Thank you regards Duncan Moug Head to Gone Running - with their loyalty program - you will definitely return.

        Adizero Adios Pro3

        This is my second pair since 7 months; so you imagine it’s my favourite at the moment. Firm grip, stable support, light, breathable, a trustable choice to me for Road runner. : )
