      Direction:  Mui Wo -> Wan Tsai -> Shap Long - Shap Long Reservoir -> Lung Mei Junction -> Mong Tung Wan -> Ham Tin Old / New Village -> Pui O.

      Starting conveniently by Mui Wo Ferry Pier, this route is with little elevation change, making it a very runnable speed-training section for some of the fastest runners known to town.

      For hikers, the lack of elevation change makes it particularly suitable for the warmer seasons of the year.

      Near the end of the 15km, instead of going directly for the bus, walkers/runners may alternatively refresh themselves by Pui O campsite or enjoy a beer at the beach restaurant.  

      Small to medium-sized Oxsitis backpacks with 2L water bladder fully-filled are recommended for the summer seasons due to its length.  Though Chi Ma Wan is generally well-shaded, part of this trail is still exposed and Hong Kong can be over 30 degrees-C throughout the year.
